Quality vs Cost | An American Made Product
Sometimes we get an unhappy customer who is weary of waiting on their order. I want to apologize for the wait but please try and understand that we are a very tiny shop. My son is the only blacksmith. We have a full time helper and a part time helper. Jarrod works about 16 hours a day 7 days a week. We can’t afford to hire any more help without raising our prices and we’re pretty sure none of you want us to do that.
I try and make it clear all over our website that we are 6 weeks behind. We should complete the February orders by tomorrow but MANY dealer orders await us and then there are all of the March retail orders. We are VERY happy to be so busy but -as the customer-you need to be aware that we are behind and your order will likely take 6 weeks to process.
Everything that leaves this shop is of the highest quality. We stand behind it all 100%. If you have a problem with your hawk, axe or knife we will fix it and make sure you are happy with the results and we will not charge you anything to do that. But the cost of quality is time. We thank you for your patience and understanding. We promise it IS worth the wait!
