If you are confused perhaps I need to explain what WE consider to be the difference between axes and tomahawks. Our tomahawks have tapered, friction-fit handles that can easily be slid off and replaced in the field should you break one. Our axes have a handle that is held on with a wedge driven into the top of the handle. The axe heads are heavier and the handles longer and shaped completely different from a tomahawk handle.
We are now making 2 axes, a felling axe and a smaller, belt axe. They will soon be on our webpage but, for now, you can call to place an order. The belt axes are 105.00, have a blade that is about 3.5 inches long and the overall length of the head is about 6.25 inches. The handle is around 17 inches long.
The felling axes are 130.00. The blade is about 4 inches long and the overall length is 7 inches. The handles are 28 inches. They weigh about
