Shawnee Throwing Tomahawk

The head is 4 inches along the cutting edge and 6 inches long across the top of the blade.

DETAILS:

  • With the 19 inch handle weighing about .5 lb, the total weight of the hawk is about 1.5 lbs.

    H&B hawks are by far the best. At every rendezvous a Shawnee hawk is one of the prizes. Luckily I won one years ago. Since then I purchased four more. Best throwing hawk that can be had!

    This hawk is perfect for throwing. Beautiful workmanship on the blade and handle. The engraving looks great. Would highly recommend for throwing or ever day uses.

    I bought my first H&B hawk back in the early '80's. When it was time to gift my brother with one, there was no doubt, it would have to be an H&B. 40 years and still going strong.

    Have not used it yet, I need to get my stump up, I have used these in the early 80's when I did the mountain man thing, Thta's why I bought another as soon as I saw the H&B..

    Looks to be a high quality tomahawk, all seems straight good grind on the blade. Quality enough handle, could have done with the natural look, but stain okay
