Medium Camp Hawk

Like the boys hawk, this medium camp also has a 3.5 inch wide blade. The blade length is about 5.5 inch.

It uses our large, 19 inch tomahawk handle but the length is shortened to about 17 inches. If you want us to leave it long just let us know and we can do that.

DETAILS: 

  • The head weighs about 1 lb.
  • The overall weight with the 17 inch handle is about 1.5 lbs.
  • Our medium fancy camp sheath will fit this axe.

    Delivery took longer than expected but was worth the wait. The hawk was smaller than expected and the handle is a little on the small side for my hand. Overall the quality is excellent! I am an avid outdoorsman and have used equipment like this all my life and the quality produced by H&B forge harkens back to the era of the old America where men were tough and their tools had to be tougher because they were relied upon for daily life. This hawk is a true heirloom piece reminiscent of the tools my ancestors used to carve civilization and a new world out of a savage new land. Well Done H&B! I’ll definitely be ordering more of your products!

    Simply amazing. It works like a dream. Can’t beat hand made in the USA. For utility this has been used 100s of years and it’s so very cool to have a tool that was made just like the ones native Americans had. I see this being a family heirloom (so I ordered 2 more the day after this one arrived).

    Excellent quality, fit and finish, everything I hoped for and absolutely worth the wait. Definitely an heirloom-quality tomahawk, this is my first H&B tomahawk but it definitely won't be the last!

    This hawk is exactly what I hoped for. It's lightweight even though it has the hammer poll and still has a generous cutting edge. I really enjoy the fact that they're handmade and all have something unique about them. Thank you very much!

    Very solid and sturdy only problem was it was pretty dull when I received it other then that a very nice ax and would definitely buy again
